The purpose of this study was to investigate the bacterial pathology of some of the exquisite manuscripts kept in Astane Quds Razavi Documentation Center in Mashhad. In this study, using classical and molecular methods, bacterial contamination of five exquisite manuscripts was investigated and identified. Sampling was performed using three methods of a direct swab, wet swab in physiological serum and nitrocellulose membrane. Bacterial contamination of the reservoir air was performed using an open plate method. In total, 72 bacterial strains were isolated, 28 of which were identified by molecular method, most of which belonged to the Firmicutes phylum. Bacillus atrophaeus with 38.6% abundance had the highest distribution. Bacterial strains of Staphylococcus hominis and Bacillus altitudinis were isolated only from airborne samples. The microbial community of books and air showed 53% similarity, indicating a possible source of microbial contamination with air origin. The presence of similar bacteria (23.5%) in the buffer room and tank air confirmed this. The results of this study indicate the presence of bacteria in the paper and leather substrates of the studied books, and, on the other hand, identifying bacterial air pollutants helps improve the ventilation of tanks and libraries. Understanding these factors will help in choosing efficient methods of preservation and restoration of written works.}, keywords = {Biodeterioration,Written Works,Bacteria,Astan Quds Razavi Documentation Center}, title_fa = {مطالعه آلودگی های باکتریایی برخی آثار مکتوب نفیس مرکز اسناد آستان قدس رضوی}, abstract_fa = {تجزیه زیستی مواد آلی در چرخه عناصر، بسیار با اهمیت است؛ اما در مورد آثار موزه‌ای و آرشیوی، این تجزیه که به آن فرسودگی زیستی گفته می‌شود، موجب از دست رفتن اطلاعات با ارزشی می‌شود، که محققین به دنبال کاهش این آسیب‌ها هستند. هدف از این پژوهش بررسی آسیب‌شناسی باکتریایی برخی نسخ نفیس خطی نگهداری شده در مرکز اسناد آستان قدس رضوی مشهد بود. در این مطالعه با استفاده از روش‌های کلاسیک و مولکولی، آلودگی‌های باکتریایی پنج اثر نفیس بررسی گردید. نمونه برداری با استفاده از سه روش سوآب مستقیم، سوآب مرطوب شده در سرم فیزیولوژی و غشاء نیتروسلولز انجام شد. آلودگی باکتریایی هوای مخزن با استفاده از روش پلیت باز انجام گردید. در مجموع 72 سویه باکتریایی جداسازی شد که از میان آن‌ها 28 سویه با روش مولکولی شناسایی شدند که غالب آنها مربوط به شاخه Firmicutes بودند. باکتری Bacillus atrophaeus با 6/38% فراوانی، دارای بالاترین پراکندگی بود. گونه‌های باکتریاییStaphylococcus hominis و B. altitudinis تنها در نمونه‌های مربوط به هوا جداسازی شدند. جامعه میکروبی کتب و هوا 53% شباهت نشان دادند، که نشان دهنده منبع احتمالی آلودگی میکروبی با منشا هوا می‌باشد. حضور باکتری‌های مشابه (5/23%) در هوای اتاق بافری و هوای مخزن تأیید‌کننده این مسئله بود. نتایج حاصل از این پژوهش، حضور باکتری‌ها را در بسترهای کاغذی و چرمی کتب مطالعه شده به خوبی نشان می‌دهد و از طرفی شناخت آلاینده‌های باکتریایی هوا، کمک به بهبود روش‌های تهویه‌ مخازن و کتابخانه‌ها می‌نماید. شناخت این عوامل به انتخاب روش‌های کارآمد حفاظت و مرمت آثار مکتوب کمک شایانی خواهد نمود.}, keywords_fa = {Biodeterioration,Written Works,Bacteria,Astan Quds Razavi Documentation Center}, url = {https://cell.ijbio.ir/article_1734.html}, eprint = {https://cell.ijbio.ir/article_1734_589eabc5591f930416c4ef6b9a1dfdba.pdf} }
